How to take care of your battery?

To ensure that your product lasts as long as possible, it’s important to take care of your battery. That way, you can keep your product performing at its best. After all, the battery is an essential part of your machine.

Here’s some advice on how to get the best out of your batteries. All our products come with latest-generation Lithium-Ion batteries. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your batteries and ensure they last a long time:

A few tips to take care of your battery:

  • Do not put your machine in a damp place.
  • Do not expose it to extreme temperatures (below 0°C and above 50°C).
  • Do not immerse your product in water.
  • Do not disassemble your battery
  • Do not leave it charging for longer than specified in the user manual.
  • Do not short-circuit your battery
  • Do not recharge it with any charger other than the one supplied with your machine. Do not charge your battery with a charger other than the one supplied with your machine, or even with another of the same brand (the charger is designed only for your type of battery).
  • Do not charge your battery to 100% every time. Remember to do a full charge at least every 3 months.
  • Don’t wait for the battery to run down before charging your product.
  • After using your product, allow the battery to cool before charging it.
  • Do not leave your machine in the boot of your car.
  • Do not leave your machine in the rain.
  • In the event of winter storage or prolonged non-use, store your machine in a dry place away from temperature variations.
  • Clean your machine thoroughly. Remove all traces of dust, damp, dirt and other debris.
  • Be sure to recharge it once every 3 months. Make sure you check all the functions beforehand.
